■Will Saturn's rings disappear?
In 2025, Saturn's rings disappeared twice, making them invisible from Earth. Then, around November 25th, Saturn's rings will become extremely thin, causing a "semi-disappearance" of the rings, making them invisible. We will explain the key points to observe this. This will be the last time Saturn's rings disappear, which occurs every 15 years. This is an opportunity not to be missed, as it will be 15 years from now before we have another chance to see Saturn without its rings.

■Information about the European total solar eclipse on August 12, 2026
A total solar eclipse will occur in Russia, Greenland, Iceland, and Spain on August 12, 2026 (local time, August 13 in Japan). Iceland and Spain are attracting attention as observation sites, and this month we will focus on the highly anticipated total solar eclipse in Spain, which is likely to attract the most travellers. We visited the area and conducted on-site research on the observation sites and climate. We also introduce the observation sites for solar eclipse observation tours sponsored by astronomy guides.
