This is a guidebook for enjoying the Moon, which waxes and wanes every day and changes its appearance throughout the 365 days of the year, by actually looking up at the night sky.
In addition to information on the daily phases of the Moon for 2027, lunar nomenclature, the lunisolar calendar, the 24 solar terms, and events like supermoons and lunar eclipses, this book is packed with useful information such as daily moonrise and moonset times, monthly starry skies (constellations), and days with frequent meteor showers.
Each month includes a "Recommended Moon-Viewing" section, which introduces the dates, times, and descriptions for viewing beautiful lunar scenery that shouldn't be missed.
The Moon is the closest celestial body to Earth—something anyone can enjoy looking at without special equipment, even in cities with bright lights.
Simply gazing at the Moon without any expectations can calm your mind, allow you to savor the quiet passage of time, and lead to a more enriched life.
