Author: trikotri

The latest work from trikotri, author of "Animal Pompon," "Dog Pompon," and "Cat Pompon."
The fourth book features cute, colorful birds made from yarn pom-poms.

From domestic birds such as Java sparrows, budgerigars, cockatiels, and zebra finches to wild birds such as sparrows, titmice, Japanese white-eyes, and kingfishers.
A total of 27 crafts instructions are included.

To make them, first wrap the thread around the tool to create two base pom-poms, one large and one small.
After connecting the two pompoms, cut the whole piece to form the shape of a bird, then sew each part (beak, eyes, eyelids) onto the face of the main body.
Then make the tail feathers, flight feathers, and legs, and insert them into the body to complete the piece.
By changing the way you cut, the angle of the neck, and the way you bend the legs, you can create birds with a variety of movements and expressions.

All the birds can be made using almost the same process, so once you learn the tricks, you can apply them to other projects, and because they are shaped like real birds, they look more realistic.
As you make them, their expressions will gradually emerge, and when you're finished, you'll have adorable little birds in your hands that look like they're about to take flight.
The works can be enjoyed in a variety of ways, such as as a key chain to attach to your bag or as a mobile to hang in your room.

You can make a doll exactly like the one in the artwork, or you can change the color of the thread to make one to your liking.
Try making your own favorite bird.
