A practical book that uses water hyacinth (Eichhornia crassipes), a perennial aquatic plant that thrives in subtropical regions, as a flower material.
"Sola" (Seno: a herbaceous plant of the genus Celastrus, a legume family that grows wild in the rice paddies of Thailand) has become a standard flower material for flower gifts. This time, we introduce how to create arrangements that combine sola flowers with a new material made from processed water hyacinth stems. Water hyacinth is a natural material that has a warmth to it, and using it helps protect the environment against overgrowth. Like preserved flowers, it can be arranged in any shape you like, making it suitable for use as a wreath, ribbon, rope, or flower vase. This book contains many ideas for practical items and gift making.

■What is water hyacinth?
Also known as water hyacinth or water hyacinth. This non-hardy perennial plant of the Pontederiaceae family is a prolific, harmful plant that quickly covers the surface of eutrophicated waters in tropical and subtropical regions. Removing overgrown water hyacinth is eligible for carbon offsetting. Water hyacinth is a more eco-friendly material than plastic. Each flower material is handmade, giving it the texture and warmth of natural materials. Furthermore, handmade materials also help provide relief to the poor in the countries where they are produced. We use these flower materials to advocate for the SDGs: "How to be environmentally friendly and protect the global environment."
