Author: Hashiguchi Manabu

Learn about the theory and practice of the author, a German nationally certified florist master, to understand what a bouquet is and improve your design skills.

The most common order in the flower business is bouquets.
Although it may appear to be just a bunch of flowers, it requires delicate techniques such as combining colors and flowers, and maintaining the overall balance.

This book begins with an overview of what a bouquet is, detailed basic knowledge such as selecting materials and containers, and includes many examples such as bouquets with varying heights, bouquets with compact outlines, bouquets with lines and space, bouquets with parallel compositions, and bouquets using frameworks.
The how-to guide not only explains the selected flowers and their roles, but also photographs the key points of the technique from various angles and carefully follows each step. It introduces techniques ranging from the basics of bouquet making that even beginners can understand to advanced works that can also be used as references for intermediates.

This book is a compilation of examples taken from the serials in the magazine "Florist," "12 Months of Bouquets Suggested by Florist Masters" (January 2013 issue to December 2014 issue) and "Learn How to Make Bouquets by Technique" (June 2024 issue to April 2025 issue), with additions and revisions, and the addition of newly photographed examples.

Released 25/10/03
