■Visiting Akutsu Cebu Observatory, which is celebrating its second anniversaryWe visit the observatory of Tomio Akutsu, who moved to Cebu Island in the Philippines and is engaged in astronomy outreach activities. The Philippines has long been known as a good place to observe planets, and Akutsu is currently writing a series in our magazine, "Monthly Astronomy Guide," so many people are probably considering visiting Akutsu Cebu Observatory. We will post photos of the telescope installed at Akutsu Cebu Observatory, as well as photos of the moon's surface that were actually taken during the visit.

■Star Trip to Waddy Farm, Western Australia Waddy Farm in Western Australia is a famous expedition destination for amateur astrophotographers, who often win prizes in our magazine's "Reader's Astronomical Photography Contest." This spring, many astrophotographers made an expedition to the Southern Hemisphere to take astronomical photographs. This time, we will introduce the astronomical images taken with the equipment brought to Waddy Farm, each of which was ingenious.

■ Will it be visible until May 7th? Capture the disappearance of Saturn's rings!
The disappearance of Saturn's rings is a phenomenon that can be seen every 15 years. Saturn has been ring-less as seen from Earth since March 24th, but it has been difficult to actually see it because Saturn is so close to the Sun. With the start of May, Saturn has finally become visible in the eastern sky at dawn. The deadline to see Saturn without its rings is May 7th. Take this chance to point your telescope at Saturn and see what it looks like without its rings.
